Speaking out loud but not being heard.

Speaking out without speaking out loud.

What do I mean by this? Many people do not have the willpower to speak out. But the internet gives those the opportunity to speak out. Social media has set a perfect plate form for people who think their voice is not being heard. For example, if someone does not feel like they are being heard in person and feel alone the internet has set a great platform for those people to feel loved and an opportunity to express how they feel and what they are thinking. For some, they may not be someone who thinks like them or think like them in the area they live in. But in fact, the internet gives them the opportunity to reach out to someone miles and miles away that feel and express the same feeling as them so they no longer feel alone.
Growing up in such a diverse area, I have some friends from the Middle East that feel alone, unloved, and uncared for. And the internet and social media have given them the opportunity to reach out to people like them and people who care about their wellbeing. Most people don’t like confrontations so many stays quiet and in many cases that leads to bad life decisions, this is why I believe the internet is a great outlet to express and speak out about how you truly feel.

Another reason I believe the internet is a great source to speak out is that. I have friends and family spread out across the US and other countries. Many times the only way to get in touch or just see how they are doing is through social media. Most people connect through social media in a few clicks your post can be read by millions of users in just a few minutes of it being up. It’s like sending emails and posting up posters is outdated and a thing of the past.
